NCPTA Cheers BECE 2025 Candidates, Rallies Support from Stakeholders
The National Council of Parent-Teacher Associations (NCPTA) has sent a heartfelt message of encouragement to all candidates participating in the 2025 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), commending their resilience and hard work while calling on all stakeholders to play their roles effectively.
In a press release signed by its National Public Relations Officer, Felicity Ahafianyo, the NCPTA acknowledged the BECE as a defining moment in the lives of thousands of students across the country, representing the culmination of years of learning, growth, and discipline.
"Remain calm, focused, and confident," the statement urged the candidates. "Read every instruction and question thoroughly, manage your time wisely, and answer to the best of your ability. Believe in your preparation — you’ve got this!"
The NCPTA also praised invigilators, calling on them to uphold the integrity of the exams by arriving early, explaining rules clearly, and monitoring the process diligently to prevent any irregularities.
Teachers and non-teaching staff were applauded for their critical role in preparing the students. The Council encouraged them to continue offering emotional support and practical advice during this crucial period, noting that their impact extends far beyond the classroom.
External invigilators and security personnel were reminded of the importance of professionalism, impartiality, and prompt handling of any exam-related issues. The Council emphasized that their role is central to maintaining the credibility of the entire examination process.
To parents and guardians, the NCPTA expressed deep gratitude for their unwavering support and urged them to maintain a calm and supportive environment at home. Proper rest, nutrition, and motivation, it said, are key to helping candidates perform at their best.
The Council also extended its appreciation to the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) for its efforts in ensuring a fair and credible examination process. It expressed hope that the 2025 BECE would proceed without cancellations or rescheduling and that candidates would receive their results with pride.
The NCPTA’s message serves as both a motivational boost for students and a nationwide call for cooperation to ensure a smooth and successful examination period.
