D&S Foundation Aids Weep Not Child Orphanage in Nsawam

In a heartwarming gesture of community support and compassion, the Dianne and Shadrack Foundation (D&S) has extended a helping hand to the Weep Not Child Foundation, an orphanage situated in Ahwerease Darmang near Nsawam in the Eastern Region of Ghana.

This initiative, which took place during the festive Christmas season, underscores the foundation's commitment to giving back to those in need.

The donation was particularly meaningful as it coincided with the birthday of Mrs. Dianne Andrews Adu, the CEO of D&S Foundation, who celebrates her special day on December 31st.

In a bid to spread joy and warmth among the orphans, Mrs. Adu chose to mark her birthday by sharing her blessings with the less fortunate.

Her thoughtful gesture aimed to bring smiles to the faces of the children at the orphanage, reminding them that they are not alone during this festive season.

The generous donation comprised essential items, including 10 bags of 5kg rice, 30 packs of sachet water, toiletries, tissue paper, and a variety of non-alcoholic drinks.

These contributions were not only practical but also served as a symbol of love and care for the children, ensuring they have a memorable Christmas celebration.

In her address, Mrs. Adu expressed her gratitude to God for another year of life and emphasized the importance of sharing blessings with others.

She encouraged the orphans to remain hopeful and focused on their dreams, regardless of the challenges they may face.

Her words served as a source of inspiration, reminding the children that their circumstances do not define their potential.

Comfort Nana Ama Owusu, the Executive Director of the Weep Not Child Foundation, graciously received the items on behalf of the orphanage.

She expressed heartfelt appreciation to Mrs. Adu and her husband for their generosity and unwavering support towards the orphans.

Nana Ama Owusu also took a moment to pray for blessings upon the couple's marriage, as well as for continued resources that would enable them to sustain their philanthropic efforts in the community and across Ghana.

This act of kindness by the D&S Foundation not only highlights the spirit of giving during the holiday season but also reinforces the importance of community support in uplifting the lives of vulnerable children. As the foundation continues its mission to assist those in need, it sets a powerful example of compassion and generosity for others to follow.
