SGF-Gh President Praises Ga Mantse’s Support


The President of the Scout and Guide Fellowship Ghana (SGF-Gh), Mr. Andrew Botchwey, has expressed heartfelt gratitude to His Royal Majesty King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, the Ga Mantse, for his exceptional support and hospitality during the Peace Gathering 2024.


The event, which marked the end of a triumphant seven-day trek by the Scouts and Guides from Kumasi to Accra, was hosted by the Ga Mantse. Mr. Botchwey described the King’s gracious welcome as a testament to his visionary leadership, which fosters unity and progress.


“In your presence, unity takes form, and progress finds its rhythm. For your steadfast support, we say, Nyonms ajoo bo!” Mr. Botchwey remarked, acknowledging the Ga Mantse's commitment to empowering the youth and championing peace initiatives.


The Peace Gathering 2024 brought together Scouts and Guides from across the country to celebrate the spirit of unity and collaboration. The Ga Mantse’s hosting of the event underscored his dedication to fostering harmony and providing a platform for the younger generation to thrive.


The SGF-Gh President’s appreciation highlights the importance of traditional leadership in promoting social cohesion and national development.
