Prof. Naana Opoku-Agyemang Kicks Off Volta Region Campaign Tour ..... Engages Communities Across Eleven Constituencies
The vice presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, is set to commence a two-day campaign tour across the Volta Region on Tuesday. Covering a total of eleven constituencies, the tour aims to strengthen connections with local communities and engage a broad range of groups on the NDC’s vision for Ghana.
On the first day of her tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will visit the North Tongu, South Tongu, Keta, Ketu South, Akatsi North, and Adaklu constituencies. The following day, she will wrap up her engagements by reaching out to the Ho Central, Ho West, South Dayi, North Dayi, and Hohoe constituencies.
Throughout the visit, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang will hold meetings with artisans, queen mothers, youth groups, seamstresses, teachers, and other professionals, aiming to foster meaningful discussions and build grassroots support. Her focus on these interactions highlights the NDC’s commitment to addressing community-specific issues and listening to concerns from various sectors of society.
Prior to the tour, Prof. Opoku-Agyemang joined the chiefs and people of Anloga on Saturday to celebrate the Hogbetsotso Festival, a key cultural event in the region, further solidifying her connection with the Volta Region. Her engagement in the festival underscores her respect for traditional values and her dedication to working closely with the communities she aims to serve.
