NDC Declares Confidence in Election Victory
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has expressed strong optimism about winning the December 7 elections, asserting that John Dramani Mahama’s leadership offers the best chance to rebuild Ghana’s economy and restore hope.
At a press conference, the NDC National Communications Officer, Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi highlighted Mahama’s achievements, contrasting them with the current government’s failures under Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He emphasized that Mahama left behind a stable economy with sustainable public debt and strong buffers, while the NPP has plunged Ghana into an economic crisis marked by record inflation and unprecedented hardships.
Sammy Gyamfi described the elections as a choice between “a nation-builder” and “a failed economist.”
Confident of victory, the NDC urged Ghanaians to reject what they called the “failed policies” of the NPP and opt for Mahama’s tested leadership.
They reassured the public of their commitment to peace but warned against attempts to manipulate the elections. The NDC called for vigilance and cooperation with security agencies to safeguard the electoral process.
