John Mahama Hits the Road in Accra

Former President John Dramani Mahama has commenced a two-day campaign tour of the Greater Accra Region as part of his #Mahama4Change2024 campaign. The tour began this morning in Old Ningo, within the Ningo-Prampram constituency, and is set to cover several key areas, including Kpone Katamanso, Tema Central, and Tema East.

Throughout the tour, Mr. Mahama is expected to engage in various activities aimed at fostering connections with voters and addressing concerns of both formal and informal sectors. His engagements will include community-based programmes, discussions with key stakeholders, and targeted outreach in local communities.

On the first day, Mr. Mahama will interact with residents and leaders across these constituencies, reiterating his vision for restoring hope and resetting the nation’s priorities ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The tour comes at a critical moment as the campaign intensifies in the lead-up to the election. Mr. Mahama's spokesperson, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, stated that the former president’s message of change will focus on addressing economic challenges and fostering development in communities across the region.

The Greater Accra campaign is part of a broader nationwide strategy to build momentum for the NDC’s 2024 presidential campaign.
