Ngleshie Alata Chiefs Accuse Police of Complicity in Chief Priest’s Murder, Demand Arrest of Perpetrators
The Chiefs and elders of Ngleshie Alata held a press conference in response to the brutal murder of Nii Ayitey Konko V, the Chief Priest of Ngleshie Alata James Town, who had served in the role for over a decade. The spokesperson for the group revealed that Nii Ayitey Konko had faced numerous threats from thugs allegedly connected to Dr. Prince Asharku Bruce-Quaye and Nii Appiah, following the death of Obrinpong Kwadwo Ababio V. According to the spokesperson, these threats culminated in a physical attack on Nii Ayitey Konko, who had repeatedly lodged complaints with the Ghana Police Service.
